Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fuhsi Market ("the Platform") at fuhsimarket.com.ng, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Fuhsi Market is a campus escrow marketplace that facilitates safe transactions between student buyers and sellers. We act as a neutral escrow agent — holding buyer payments until the buyer confirms receipt of goods, then releasing funds to the seller.

3. User Accounts

To use the Platform, you must:

  • Be a currently enrolled student at a Nigerian university.
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials.
  • Be at least 16 years of age.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Buyer Obligations

  • Buyers must transfer the exact order amount using the order ID as bank narration.
  • Buyers must confirm receipt honestly — confirming receipt means you have received and inspected the item.
  • Buyers have 48 hours after an item is marked "Ready" to raise a dispute.
  • False confirmation of receipt to release funds fraudulently is a violation of these terms and may result in a permanent ban.

5. Seller Obligations

  • Sellers must complete KYC verification and pay the one-time seller fee (₦1,500) before listing products.
  • Sellers must only prepare and deliver items after receiving an admin-confirmed order notification.
  • Sellers must never request direct payment from buyers outside the Fuhsi escrow system.
  • Product listings must be accurate, honest, and not misleading.
  • Sellers must deliver items within the agreed timeframe after an order is confirmed.

6. Affiliate Obligations

  • Affiliates must complete KYC verification and pay the one-time affiliate fee (₦2,000).
  • Affiliates must not engage in misleading or deceptive promotional practices.
  • Commission is only earned on completed orders where the buyer confirms receipt.

7. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on Fuhsi Market:

  • Requesting or accepting direct payment outside the escrow system.
  • Submitting fake payment proof or edited screenshots.
  • Creating multiple accounts to abuse the platform.
  • Selling counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited goods.
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users or staff.
  • Any form of fraud, scam, or deceptive practice.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

8. Fees

  • Buyer fee: ₦50 for orders ≤ ₦2,000; ₦100 for orders > ₦2,000.
  • Seller registration: ₦1,500 one-time fee.
  • Affiliate registration: ₦2,000 one-time fee.

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

9. Payouts

Seller and affiliate earnings are processed every Friday via bank transfer to the registered account. Fuhsi Market reserves the right to withhold payouts pending dispute resolution or fraud investigation.

10. Disputes

If a dispute arises between a buyer and seller:

  • The buyer must raise the dispute within 48 hours of the item being marked "Ready".
  • Fuhsi Market will review the dispute and make a final decision.
  • Fuhsi Market's decision on disputes is final and binding.
  • Refunds are issued at Fuhsi Market's discretion based on the evidence provided.

11. Limitation of Liability

Fuhsi Market is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount of the transaction in dispute.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms of Service, fraudulent activity, or any behavior that harms the Platform or its users.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.
